Call for Papers: StudMath-IT Students Conference 2024

We are pleased to announce the call for papers for the StudMath-IT Students Conference 2024, organized by the “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad, Faculty of Exact Sciences. This conference provides an exceptional opportunity for students enrolled in BSc, MSc, or PhD programs, to showcase their research and contribute to the fields of Mathematics and Computer Science. 

The official language of the conference is English.

Conference Sections:

Mathematics: This section encompasses various branches of mathematics, including but not limited to pure mathematics, applied mathematics, mathematical modeling, statistics, and computational mathematics.

Computer Science: This section covers a wide range of topics in computer science, including but not limited to artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, computer vision, algorithms, cryptography, information security, IoT, cryptocurrencies, blockchain, e-Business, industrial informatics and software development.

Submission Guidelines:

Eligibility: We invite students enrolled in BSc, MSc, or PhD programs in any academic institution worldwide, with a keen interest in Mathematics and Computer Science, to submit their research papers.

Originality: Submissions should present original research work, innovative ideas, or significant findings in the fields of Mathematics or Computer Science. Papers that have been previously published or are currently under review elsewhere will not be considered.  Papers will be subject to a careful review process and will be checked for plagiarism.

Formatting: Papers must be written in English and follow the prescribed format. Please refer to the conference website for detailed formatting guidelines and templates.

Submission Process: The submission process for the conference will be divided into two steps:

Step 1:  Abstract Submission

Abstract: Participants are required to submit an Abstract of their research paper. The Abstract should provide an overview of the paper, and summarize the key findings or contributions. The Abstract should be a minimum of one page and no longer than two pages (400 – 800 words). Authors must submit their Abstract electronically through the conference management system. The submission portal will be available on the conference website.

Review Process: Submitted Abstracts will undergo a thorough review process by a panel of experts in the fields of Mathematics and Computer Science. The evaluation will consider the originality of the research, significance of the findings, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the conference themes.

Accepted Abstracts will be published in the Abstract Volume of the conference .

Step 2: Final Paper Submission

After the conference, authors of accepted Abstracts will be invited to submit their full research papers for publication in the Proceedings Volume of the conference. Detailed instructions regarding the format and submission process for the final papers will be provided to the authors.
